AN ORDINANCE VACATING alley running west frthm Navajo
,, Street between 5th South Street and Gillespie Avenue, in Salt
ItLake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
- -- Lake City, Utah:
1 ` SECTION 1. That alley running west from Navajo Street
y
between 5th South Street and Gillespie Avenue, in Salt Lake City,
Utah, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 16,
Jordan Place Subdivision of parts of Sections 2 and 3, T.
1 S., R. 1 W., S.L.B. & M.; running thence west 624.8 feet
to the northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 5, Blaine Subdivi-
sion of part of the S.E.4 of the S.E.4 of Sec. 3, T. 1. S.,
R. 1 W., S.L.B. & M.; thence north 16 feet to the south-
west corner of Lot 3, Block 5, said Blaine Subdivision;
thence east 624.8 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 4 ,
Block 16, said Jordan Place Subdivision; thence south 16
feet to the point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley, or pedestrian
way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every
description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the
above described property and also subject to the rights of entry
thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repairing,
replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all
of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
