An ordinance amending the rate of interest provided for in each
and every ordinance passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City
since March 9, 1905, levying any special assessment.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That sh'and every ordinance levying a special I�
assessment for lecal e,V6yeallents and providing fer interest on such
4 h assessment or installmets;tkiereof, passed by the C# y.;Council since
March 9, 1905, be, and fihe same hereby is amended, a&respee-ts the
interest provided foren suCh_assessment or insts Tits thereof, so

as to read and Worlds that the interest on each .installmen.t ;Of such
special assessment, except the first of such installments than be
six per cent per annum from date of levy until delinquency of such
installment, and that the rate of interest on each installment after
the date of delinquency thereof shall be eight per cent *ntil paid.
And be it further ordained that the City Treasurer collect only
the rates of interest herein provided for on such assessments.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall� take effect upon approval.
