AN ORDINANCE Ar,I12 1DING an ordinance granting to the Oregon
Short Line Railroad Company, its successors and assigns, the right
to construct, operate and maintain a standard gauge railroad track
over and across certain streets in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed by
the Board of Commissioners September 26, 1922.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
Section 1. That Section 6 of an ordinance passed by the
Board. of Commissioners on the 26th day of September, 1922, granting
to the Oregon Short Line Railroad Company, its successors and as-
signs, the right to construct, operate and maintain a standard gauge
railroad track over and across Sixth and Seventh ',lest Streets be-
tween Eleven and One-half North and Twelfth North Streets and over
and across Twelfth North Street of Industrial Trackage Subdivision
to Salt Lake City, Utah, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
SECTION 6. Unless this grant and all the terms and
conditions thereof shall be accepted in writing by the grantee
herein within ninety days after the effective date of this
ordinance, and unless such track be constructed within one
year from the date of its passage, then this ordinance shall
be null and void.,
Section 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.

Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon
its first publication.
