SECTIOP I. '211at .;eoion2 019X and 819:1 of Chapter 29,
Revised Ordinances of La.lt Lake City, 1913, as ordained by an
ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners on October let,
1913, be and the same are hereby amended so as to read as follows:
SECTIOK 81911. It shall be unlawful for any per-
son within the limits of alit Lake City, to exhibit or ex-
pose to view in any locked, burred or barricaed 301120 or
room, or in any other place built or protect:Da in a manner
to make it difficult of access or impress to police offi-
cers, or in any place ;,-:lied with what is commonly norm
as a look-out or equiled with sinal or alarm devices,
electric buzzers, or any device or agency capable of bcinp
used, or used as a means of 3'iving warning of the presence
or approach of police °Moors, where and. when three or more
persons are present, any cards, dice, dominoes, fan-tail table,
or lay out, or any port of such lay out, or any pambliny
table, implement or device whatsoever.
SECTIOII 81911. It shall be unlawful for any person

within the limits of Salt Lake City, to visit or resort
to any such locked, barred or barricaded house or room,
or other place built or protected in a manner to make it
difficult of access or ingress to police officers, or any
place supplied with what is commonly known as a look-out
or equipped with signal or alarm devices, electric buzzers,
or any device or agency capable of being used, or used as
a means ofgiving Warning of the presence or approach of
police officers, when any cards, dice, dominoes, fan-tan
table or-lay out, or'any gambling table, implement or device
whatsoever are exhibited or exposed to view, where and when
three or more persons are present.
SECTION II. In the opinion of the Board of Commission-
ers, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the in-
habitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance take effect im-

mediately and that an emergency is therefore hereby declared.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
publication.
