Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City on November 6, 1941,
and designated as bill No. 53, relating to licenses.
Be it ordained by the t,oard of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 646 of Chapter AIVIII, Levised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, passed by the Loard of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City on November 6, 1941, and designat-
ed as bill No. 53, relating to licenses, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SEC. 646. LICENSE TO OPILATS VLNiILC 1ACRTN . (a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate nne or more
vending machines for the sale of goods, wares or merchandise,
except machines vending soft drinks, without first making applica-
tion to the License Assessor and collector of Salt Lake City
and receiving a license therefor.
(b) A vending machine, as described in this ordinance,
shall mean any device operated automatically or mechanically
and vbich will vend merchandise upon depositing therein a
coin.
(c) The license fee reouired shall be as follows:
for each machine so operated 50 cents per year or any part
thereof.
(d) ivery operator before receiving a license as
above provided shall furnish to the License Assessor and
Collector and. City hecorder of Salt Lake City a complete list
and location of all vending machines then being operated by
