AN-- RDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE kiE1i)1NG SECTION 6714 of the Revised Ordi- nances of bait Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the Hoard of Commissioners on February 21, 1945, April 5, 1945, August 17, 1945, December 18, 1945, March 28, 1946, April 4, 1946, Juno 4, 1946, August 6, 1946, September 18, 1946, October 8, 1946, November 5, 1946, December 5, 1946, December 11, 1946, January 7, 1947, February 11, 1947, March 5, 1947, March 25, 1947, April 16, 1947, May 27, 1947, June 5, 1947, and. June 26, 1947, relating to zoning. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 6714 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 21, 1945, April 4, 1945, August 17, 1945, December 18, 1945, March 28, 1946, April 4, 1946, June 4, 1946, August 6, 1946, September 18, 1946, October 8, 1946, November 5, 1946, December 5, 1946, December 11, 1946, January 7, 1947, February 11, 1947, March 5, 1947, March 25, 1947, April 16, 1947, May 27, 1947, June 5, 1947, and June 26, 1947, relating to zoning, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding in and to said section a new paragraph to be known as Item No. 42, which shall read. as follows: "ITEM No. 42. The following described real property in Residential 'A-3' and Residential 'B-2' Districts, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby amended and changed to 'Commercial' classification and the Use District Map is here- by amended and changed accordingly: Both sides of llth East Street from Hollywood to Ramona Avenues more particularly described as follows: Commencing 33 feet south of the northeast corner of -2- Lot 18, Block 1, 5-Acre Plat A, Big Field Survey, thence South 401.05 feet, thence west 125 feet, thence northwester- ly along the Jordan & Salt Lake City canal right-of-way to a point 200 feet west of point of beginning, thence east 200 feet to place of beginnin6, being part of Lots 18 and 19, in said Block 1; also Lots 24 to 28, incl. Block 11, Perkins Addition to Grand View in Block I-A, 5-Acre Plat ,111, Big field Survey, and the west 379.5 feet of the north 213.9 feet of Lot 4, Block 1-A, 5-Acre Plat !AI, Big ileld Survey. That said Use district Map is hereby changed and amended to show the above described tract of land and the whole thereof as part of ,Commercial bistrict." SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peaceOlealth and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
