S' Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That part of Nassau Street and alley in
Block 2, Maack's Addition Plat 'A' of the Northwest quarter of
6 the Southeast quarter, Sec. 23, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M.,
in. Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly described as follows:
Nassau Street.
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3,
Maack's Addition, Plat 'A' of the Northwest quarter of
Southeast quarter, Section 23, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., S.L.B. &
M.; running thence Northwesterly along the westerly line
of Nassau Street 239.61 feet to the intersection with the
easterly line of the O.S.L.RR R/W, thence 68.13 feet North-
easterly along the Easterly line of said R/W to the inter-
section with the Easterly line of Nassau Street, thence
Southeasterly along the Easterly line of Nassau Street
321.00 feet to the intersection of the Easterly line of
Nassau Street with the north line of 15th North Street
(Maack Avenue), thence west along the north line of 15th
North Street (Maack Avenue) 91.85 feet to the point of
beginning.
Alley in Block 2 - Maack's Addition Plat 'A'.
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 2,
Maack's Addition, Plat 'A' of the Northwest quarter of
Southeast quarter of Section 23, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., S.L.B.
& M., running thence Northwesterly along the westerly line
of alley in said Block 2, 465.80 feet to the intersection
of the westerly alley line with the Easterly line of the 0.
S. L. RR R/W, thence Northeasterly along said Easterly line
of said. R/W 14.01 feet to the intersection of said Easterly
R/W line with the Easterly line of said alley in Block 2,
thence Southeasterly along the Easterly line of said alley,
480.50 feet to the intersection of said Easterly alley
line with the North line of 15th North Street (Maack Avenue),
thence West along the North line of 15th North Street (Maack
Avenue), 19.48 feet to the point of beginning;
be and the same are hereby vacated and declared no longer to be

public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and
every description now locat4d in, on, under or over the confines
of the above described property and also subject to the right of
entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repair-
ing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and
all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
