AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 25-4-6, Subsection(e) of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to salary
schedules of elected officials.
Be it ordained by the Boded of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That 'Subsection (e) of Section 25-4-6 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to salary schedules
of elected officials be, and the, same hereby is, amended to read
as follows:
"Sec. 25-4-6. Salary schedule adopted (a) * * *.
* * *
"(e) Effective March 1, 1973, through June 30, 1975, the
salary of the City Judges shall be $1,650.00 per month,
which sum is ninety (90%) percent of the salary paid to the
judges of the District Courts of the State of Utah.
"Effective January 1, 1974, through June 30, 1975, the
salaries of the Mayor, City Commissioners and City Auditor
shall be as follows:
Mayor $1,620.00 per month
Commissioners 1,480.00 per month
Auditor 1,388.00 per month
"Effective July 1, 1975, the salaries of the Mayor, City
Commissioners, City Auditor and City Judges shall be as follows:
Mayor $1,778.00 per month.
Commissioners 1,625.00 per month
Auditor 1,524.00 per month
Judges 1,811.00 per month."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect on the date of its
first publication.
Passed by the Board of Salt Lake City Commissioners this 25th
day of June, 1975.
