devised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as amended, gelatin
to Alcoholic Beverages.
Be it ordained by the hoard of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
ddCTIoN 1. That Paragraph (o) shall be added to Section 19-1-10
of the devised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating, to
Alcoholic Beverages and the same shall read as follows:
"SECTION 19-1-10 (8). It shall be unlawful for any
person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to purchase,
accept or have in his or her possession any alcoholic
beverage, including beer or intoxicating liquor; Provided,
however, that this section shall not apply to the accept-
Cl�i ante of alcoholic-beverages by such person for medicinal
purposes auPplied only by the parent or guardian of such
person or to the administering of such alcoholic beverage
by a-nhysiciap,in accordance with the law."
SdCTIuN 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it
is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
SCTIuN 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
