AN ORDINANCE VACATING the middle portion of an alley located
between 7th and 8th South Streets and running north and south between
Douglas Street and 13th East Street.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the middle portion of an alley located between
7th and 8th South Streets and running north and south between Douglas
Street and 13th East Street, more particularly described as follows,
be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue or pedestrian way:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 11,
Arlington Heights Subdivision, a part of Block 7, Plat "F",
Salt Lake City Survey and running S. 56° 18' 36" E. 18.03
feet to a point which is north 15.0 feet from the southwest
corner of Lot 43 of said block; thence north 285.0 feet to
the northwest corner of Lot 32 of said block; thence west
15.0 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 21, of said block;
thence south 275.0 feet to the point of beginning.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights
of way and easements of all public utilities located in, on, under
or over the confines of the above described property, and also subject
to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of maintaining, repair-
ing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and
all of them.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 27th day of September, 1967.
