AN ORDINANCE AMENDING that part of Section 18-1-9 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as heretofore amended,
relating to the organization and salaries of the Health Department, which
covers the salaries to be paid Senior and Junior Bacteriologists, all
grades,
Be it ordained by the Boa"rd of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1 . That that part of Section 18-1-9 of the Revised
Ordinancesof Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as heretofore amended, relating
to the organization and salaries of the Health Department, which covers
the salaries to be paid Senior and Junior Bacteriologists all grades, be,
and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Senior Bacteriologist 1st Grade $5,400.00
Senior Bacteriologist 2nd Grade 5, 160.00
Senior Bacteriologist 3rd Grade 4,980.00
Senior Bacteriologist 4th and
Probation 4,800.00
Junior Bacteriologist ist Grade 4,620.00
Junior Bacteriologist 2nd and
Probation 4,440.00 "
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is

necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 18th day of November, 1958.
