An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the north side of Second Street between 0 and P Streets, in Side- walk District No. 25, for the construotionof a sidewalk. Be it ordained by the City Couneil of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on the north sid:a of Second Street between 0 and P Streets, in Sidewalk District No. 26. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a sidewalk upon said portionof said street opposite the property here- inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established II that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full it I . li amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon Mid portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby ii levied and to be assessed upon said parcel. of land is three hundred and three and 60/100 (,$303.60) dollars, or 92/100 ( 0.92) dollars I j per frontor linear foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordi- nance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lots 1 and 2, Block 23, Plat •lw, Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said street. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
