AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Employees," prepared by the Citizens' Review
Board, as adopted by an ordinance amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, being Bill No. 40 of 1967,
a copy of which Wage and Salary Administration Program is on file in
the office of the City Recorder, by adding thereto and deleting therefrom
certain employment positions and changing the salary range classifica-
tions on other positions.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Employees" prepared by the Citizens' Review
Board, as adopted by an ordinance amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, being Bill No. 40 of 1967,
and filed in the office of the City Recorder, be, and the same hereby
is amended as follows:
(a) Under the title covering "Clerical and Technical" employees
the following positions are added:
1. Under Salary Range No. 16 for Civil Service employees the
position of Detail Programmer in the Salt Lake City Police Depart-
ment with a salary range of $538.00 to $676.00 per month.
2. Under Salary Range No. 6 for Civil Service employees the
position of Key Punch Operator I in the Salt Lake City Police
Department with a salary range of $338.00 to $430.00 per month.
(b) Under the title covering "Clerical and Technical" employees
for Civil Service the position of Key Punch Operator II in Salary
Range No. 4, is deleted.

(c) Under the title covering "Managerial and Professional"
employees the position of Deputy Recorder in Salary Range No. 12
City
is deleted and the position of Chief Deputy/Recorder is added
to Salary Range No. 15, with a salary range of $514.00 to
$646.00 per month.
Section 2. in the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 15th day of January, 1969.
