Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 545 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, with reference to sala-
ries of deputies and assistants of the City Auditor, as amend-
ed by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners April
21, 1914.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 545 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City of 1913, with reference to the salaries of the
deputies and assistants of the City Auditor, as amended by an or-
dinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City
April 21, 1914, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read
as follows:
SECTION 545. APPOINTIIENTS. DEPUTIES.
ASSISTANTS. The Board of Commissioners shall ap-
point a competent person to the position of deputy
auditor, at a salary of not exceeding eighteen hun-
dred dollars (il800.) per annum.
In the absence of or during the disability
of the City Auditor, the deputy auditor shall exer-
cise all the functions and powers of the City Auditor.
He shall give bond to the City in the sum of five
thousand dollars (j5000.).
One chief accountant at a salary of not ex,-

ceeding sixteen hundred twenty dollars (61620.) per
annum.
One warrant clerk at a salary of not exceed-
ing fifteen hundred dollars ( i1500,) per annum.
One voucher clerk at a salary of not exceed-
ing thirteen hundred eighty dollars (0_0 80.) per an-
num.
One clerk at o. salary of not exceeding twelve
hundred dollars (0.200.) per annum.
One clerk at a salary of not exceeding ten
hundred eighty dollars (4080.) per annum.
Said salaries are to be paid monthly, as are
other salaries of other city offioere.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions , or parts
of ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect July
31, 1916.
