Result AN ORpINANCE AN ORDINANCE A iENDING6ION 136 of the Ordinance of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on the 29th day of August, 1945, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on the 17th day of January, 1946, relating to administration. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 136 of the Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on the 29th day of August, 1945, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on the 17th day of January, 1946, relating to administration, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 136. DISABILITY BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES. An ordinance establishing disability benefits for employees of Salt Lake City, a municipal corporation. Any appointive officer or employee, including heads of departments of Salt Lake City, who shall have reached the age of sixty years, or more, and who shall have been continuously employed in the service of Salt Lake City from fifteen to twenty years, or more, imme- diately prior to reaching such age, may, upon furnishing to the satisfaction of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City evidence that he or she is unable to perform the active A; duties required of him or her by his or her employment, be relieved of such duties by order of the Board of Commissioners and be paid each month thereafter an amount as follows: For twenty years or more continuous service immediately prior to reaching age sixty, or older, an amount equal to one- such payment exceed $100.00 per month and provided, further, that if all the foregoing requirements are met and complied with, payments for less than twenty years service shall be computed by years in twentieths in the relative proportion that the number of years served (fifteen or more) bears to the full belefits as..,,a.re herein above xf; vided: said payments shall ceaseFupon the Irminatttp .o ' said disability or upon 4 R r death.
