AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to rezoning and fixing ,
boundaries of use districts. y ?'?

Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City has
determined that the rezoning of certain properties currently zoned
Residential "R-5A", more commonly known as the property located
at 818 and 826 South 900 East Street, to a Business "B-3" District
will encourage compatible commercial development therein and shall
be in the interest of the community, said board hereby adopts the
following amendments to the Use District Map.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, Utah.
SECTION 1. The use and "Use District Map" as adopted by
Section 51-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah,
1965, as amended, relating to the fixing of boundaries of use
districts be, and the same hereby is, amended as follows:
1. That the following described parcel of real property in a
Residential R-5A District situated at 818 and 826 South on 900 East
Street, in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly described below,
is hereby zoned Business B-3 and the Use District Map is amended
and changed accordingly:
All of the East one-half of Lot 7, Block 2, Plat
"B", Salt Lake City Survey, together with part of
the East one-half of Lot 6, Block 2, Plat "B",
Salt Lake City Survey described as beginning at
the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 2, Plat "B",
Salt Lake City Survey, running thence North along
the East lot line 2.5 rods (41.25 feet); thence
West 10 rods (165.0 feet) ; thence South 2.5 rods
(41.25 feet); thence East along the South lot line
a distance 10 rods (165.0 feet) --thence East-along
the-South 1ot,line-.a distance 10-rods--(165,0-feret
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 9th day of May , 1979.
