AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Subsection (6) of Section 51-19-1 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to private
clubs in residential "R-7" districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Subsection (61 of Section 51-19-1 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to private clubs
in residential "R-7" districts, be, and the same hereby is, amerided
to read as follows:
"Sec. 51-19-1. * * *
(6) Private clubs; provided, however, that no class "B"
non-profit club licensed under the provisions of Chapter 29
of Title 20 of these revised city ordinances shall be per-
mitted in this district."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
