An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 2 of an ordinance
entitled "An ordinance levying a tax upon property abutting on both
sides of First South Street from the west side of West Temple Street

to the east side of Third West Street, in Paving DistrictsNee,12,
for the purpose of providing for the grading, curbing and paving
thereof", passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, Septem-
ber k8, 1905, and approved by the Dtayor September 20th, 1905.
Ee it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of said ordinance be, and the same
hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as,follows:
SECTION 2. That said tax levied as aforesaid upon said
property shall become and be delinquent as follows:
One-tenth of the total amount of said tax so levied shall
become delinquent .July' 1, 1906;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent Joy 1, 190e
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1,1908;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent .July. .• 1,1909;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July. 1,191.0;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1,1911;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1,1912;
One-tents thereof shall become delinquent July 1,1913;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1,1914;
and One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1915.
Atoll of said installments except the first, shall draw interest
at the rate of six per cent per annum from the time of this
levy until delinquent, and if any or either of said install-
ments shall become delinquent, interest thereon shall be at the
rate of eight per cent per annum from delinquency until such
delinquent installments are fully paid.
SXCTIOX 2. All ordinances and parts of ardinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This or dinance shall take effect upon approval.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Luke City,TTtah,i.sy 28tr,1906,
and referred to the eleyor for his approval.
