An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 2 of an ordinance
entitled An ordinance levying a tax upon the property abutting on
both sides of East Tem-le Street from the south side of Fourth South
Street to the north side of Ninth South Street, in Paving District
No. 21, for the purpose of providing for the grading, curbing and
paving thereofTM, passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
December 11, 1905, and approved by the Mayor December 14, 1905.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Solt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of said ordinance be, and the same
hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SECTION 2. That said tax levied as aforesaid upon said
property shall become and be delinquent as follows:
One-tenth of the total amount of said tax so levied shall
become delinquent July ),,190o;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1907;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1908;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1909;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1900;
One-tenthethereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1911;
One-tenth there of shall become delinquent Julyl, 1912;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1913;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1914;and
One-tents. thereof shall become delinquentJuly 1, 1915.
Each of said installments except the first shall draw in-
terest at the rate of six per cent per annum from the time of'
this levy until delinquent, and if any or either of said in-
stallments shall become delinquent, in ,erect thereon shall be
at the rate of eight per cent per annum from delinquency until
fully
such delinquent installments are paid.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SI CTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
