Result AN ORDINANCE
An Ordinance amending Chapter 31 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to intoxicating liquors, by
adding to said Chapter one new section to be known as Section
826 x 12.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to intoxicating liquors, be, and the
same is hereby amended by adding to said Chapter one new section
to be known as Section 826x12, which shall read as follows:
Seo. 826x12. Every applicant for a retail liquor
dealer's license for use at a place not used for such pur-
pose on the first day of May, 1916, shall cause to be post-
ed in a conspicuous place on the front of the building in
which said applicant desires to engage in the sale of in-
toxicating liquors at retail, a notice stating the name of
the applicant, description of the premises where said pro-
posed license is to be used by street and number, together
with the time and place of the hearing upon said application,
which said notice shall be kept posted for at least ten days
prior to the date of said hearing. Proof of such posting
shall be made by affidavit and presented to the court at
said hearing.
Said applicant shall file with the City Recorder at the
time of filing application, a verified statement sheering
the names and addresses of the owners of the frontage on the
side of the block whereon the iliemiees proposed to be
occupied by such liquor dealer are situated.
It shall be the duty of the City Recorder to mail
notice of said application and the time and place of hearing
upon the same, to each of the persons mentioned in said list
as property owners of said frontage.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall t s effec pon its
