AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTI010 00 0rorf the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as am ded by ordinances passed by the
Board of Commissioners on February 21, 1945, April 17, 1945, August 17,
1945, December 18, 1945, March 28, 1946, April 4, 1946, June 4, 1946,
August 6, 1946, and September 18, 1946, and amending Section 6727 of
the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to
zoning.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 6714 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the
Board of Commissioners on February 21, 1945, April 17, 1945, August 17,
1945, December 18, 1945, March 28, 1946, April 4, 1946, June 4, 1946,
August 6, 1946, and September 18, 1946, belating to zoning, be and the
same is hereby amended by adding in and to said section four new para-
graphs to be known as Items 18, 19, 20 and 21, which shall read as fol-
lows:
11ITPTN 18. The following described real property in ”Unrestrict-
ed" District, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby amend-
ed and changed to Residential "B-3" classification and the Use
District IVIap is hereby amended and changed. accordingly:
The north side of 9th North Street between Spruce Street
and a point 157.5 ft. east of 9th West Street and the east side
of 8th West Street from 9th North to a point 495 ft. south, be-
ing more particularly described as follows: Lots 17 to 22, inclu-
sive, Block 67; lots 17 to 22 inclusive, Block 68; Lots 20 to 22
inclusive, Block 69; Kinney and Gourley 's Improved City Plat, and
Lot 5 and the north 1/2 of Lot 4, Block 111, Plat IC ', Salt Lake

That said Use District Map is hereby changed, altered, and
amended to show the above described tract of land and the whole

ITEM 21. The following described real property in Reside .-

hereby amended and changed to Residential "B-3" classification
and the Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accord.-
ingly:

j SECTION 2. That Section 6727 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to zoning, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding in and to said section a new paragraph
to be known as paragraph (g) , which shall read as follows:

Lake City, 'Utah, 1944, relating to
zoning, be and the same is hereby

section a new paragraph to be
known as paragraph (g), which
shall read as follows:
"(g) Where the garage is attach-
ed• to or located within a dwelling
and provided that no accessory

may reduced, provided the mini-
mum sideyard is maintained on
both sides of such dwelling, and
provided further that the plans for
said dwelling are submitted to and
approved by the Board of Com-

_SECTION:3,-in the-opinion of the
-Board of Commissioners, it is nee-
'eseary to the "peace, health and
safety' of the ihhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance be-
come effective immediately,
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall
take effect upon its first publica-
lion.
