AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 6-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965,relating to the city cemetery, admin-
istration.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 6-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the city cemetery, administration,
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 6-1-1. Administration. The city cemetery shall
be under the immediate supervision of the city sexton,
under the direction of the commissioner of public affairs
and finance. It shall be the duty of the city sexton to
enforce the provisions of this title in respect to the city
cemetery and to perform such other work as may be required
by the commissioner of public affairs and finance."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of
the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
public ation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
on this 17th day of October, 1967.
