An ordinance amending,Section 2 of an ordinance entitled "An
ordinance levying a tax upon the property abutting on both sides of
Second South Street from the west side of elird last Street to the
west side of Tenth last Street, in Paving District No. 19, for the
purpose of providing for the grading, curbing, guttering and paving
thereof", passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, March
19, 1906, and approved ky the Mayor March 21, 1906.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SICTION 1. That Section 2 of said ordinance be, and the same
hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SICTION 2. That said tax levied as aforesaid shall become`
.delinquent as follows:
One-tenth of the total amount of said tax so levied shall
become delinquent July 1, 1906;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1907;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1908;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1909;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1910;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1911;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent JLly 1, 1912;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1913;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1914;and
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquent July 1, 1915.
Mach of said installments except the first shall draw in-
terest at the rate of six per cent per annum from the time of
this levy until delinquent, and if any or either of said in-
stallments shall become delinquent, interest thereon shall be
at the rate of eight per cent per annum from delinquency until
such delinquent installmentslare fully paid.
SICTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SacTIOl 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
