Be it ordained by the Board of.Commissioners of Sa74 Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Sections 1-3-2, 1-3-22 and 1-3-29 Of the Revised Ordinances of Solt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating t©"Estra.ys," be, and the same hereby are, amended to read as follows: "Sec. 1-3-2. Salary. The city poundkeeper shall receive no salary. "Sec. 1-3-22. Pound. The poundkeeper shall furnish suitable premises to be used as the city pound, and it shall be the duty of the city poundkeeper to take charge of the premises, which shall be desisnated as the city pound, and keep said premises in a clean and orderly condition. It shall be his duty to receive and care for all animals committed to his charge; to examine records, marks and brands; and t^ exercise diligence in locat- ing' the owners of such animals and to notify them if found. "Sec. 1-3-29. Fees. The poundkeeper shall collect and retain the following' fees for iris services: "For impounding and posttn2; up notices, the sum of $5.00 per head for all animals impounded; for feeding of animals, $1.00 per day per animal; for conducting sale, $1.00 per animals sold; and the actual cost of any adverti-si.ns required by ordinance to be made by the poundkeeper in the course of his duties as such poundkeeper." SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peece, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City*, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first, publication.
