AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Chapter 2 of Title 32, of the Revised

Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to public offenses,
offenses involving morals, by adding thereto a new section to be known
as Sec. 32-2-11, relating to obscene conduct in places of business,
suspension or revocation of license.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah;
SECTION 1. That Chapter 2 of Title 32, of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to public offenses, offenses
involving morals, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto
a new section to be known as Sec. 32-2-11, relating to obscene conduct
in places of business, suspension or revocation, to read as follows:
"Sec. 32-2-11. Obscene conduct in places of business, sus-
pension or revocation of license. It shall be unlawful for
any owner, operator, manager or lessee, or any agent, partner,
associate or employee of such owner, operator, manager or
lessee, of any place of business, the business of which is
licensed and regulated by Salt Lake City, to allow or permit
an entertainer, employee, patron or any other person to appear
in or on said place of business naked, or in indecent attire
or lewd dress or to make any indecent or obscene exposure of
his or her person.
"Licenses may be suspended or revoked by the Board of Com-
missioners for violation on licensed premises of any of the
provisions of this section."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
