AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated May, 1969, as
adopted by Bill No. 63 of 1969, amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto the position
of Assistant Street Superintendent (Code 1074) under Pay Class No. 21
for non-civil service managerial and professional employees with a
salary range of $708.00 to $896.00 per month.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated May, 1969, as
adopted by Bill No. 63 of 1969 amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, be, and the same hereby is,
amended by adding thereto the position of Assistant Street Superintendent
(Code 1074) under Pay Class No. 21 for non-civil service managerial and
professional employees with a salary range of $708.00 to $896.00 per month.
SECTION 2. The foregoing position of employment shall become
effective upon September 1, 1969.
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publi-
cation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,. this
3rd day of September, 1969.
