AN ORDINANCE AMENDING/51-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, relating to rezoning and fixing the
boundaries of Use Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "use district map" as adopted by
Section 51-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,
Utah, as amended, relating to fixing the boundaries of Use
Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended as follows:
"The following described real property in a
Residential 'R-2' District, as shown on the Use
District Map, is hereby zoned as Residential 'R-1'
District and the Use District Map is amended and
changed accordingly:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of Cheyenne
Street and California Avenue, running thence North
89°55'56" East along the South line of California
Avenue, 3,097 feet, more or less, to the West line
of the Jordan River, thence Southerly along the
West line of the Jordan River to the North line of
17th South Street; thence West along the North line
of 17th South Street 2,648 feet, more or less, to
the Surplus Canal; thence Northwesterly along the
East line of the Surplus Canal 580 feet, more or
less, to the East line of Cheyenne Street;; thence y ,il;'
North along the East line of Cheyenne Street 2,099
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
