AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 27-7-1 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to offenses in particular
parks and playgrounds.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Section 27-7-1 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to offenses in particular
parks and playgrounds, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read
as follows:
"Sec. 27-7-1 . Beer prohibited in Sugarhouse Park and
Charles Lee Miller Park. It shall be unlawful for any
person to consume beer or to have in his possession any
beer or alcoholic beverage within Sugarhouse Park or
Charles Lee Miller Park.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of
the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effec-
tive immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this lithday of July, 1973.
