An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 2 of an ordinance
entitled "An ordinance levying a tax upon property abutting on both
sides of Fourth South Street from the west side of West Temple St.
to the west side of Second Last Street, and on both sides of State
Street frem the south side of Fourth South Street to the north side
of Seventh South Street, in Paving Districts Nos. 10 and 21, for the
purpose of providing for the grading, curbing and pairing thereof",
passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, December 11,
1$05, and approved by' the Mayor December 14, 1905.
Be it prdaened by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SNC?ION 1. That Section 2 of said ordinance be, and the same
hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SIC?IO7 2. That said tax levied as aforesaid upon said
.iproperty shall become and be delinquent as follows:
One-tenth of the total amount of said tax so levied shall
become and be delinquentJnly 1, 1906;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1907;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1908;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1909;
One-tenth there of shall become delinquen July 1,1910;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1911;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1912;
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1913;
Onertenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1914;and
One-tenth thereof shall become delinquentJnly 1, 1915.

Mach of said installments except the first, shall draw in-
terest at the rate of six per cent per annum from the time of
this levy until delinquent, and if any or either of said in-
stallments shall become delin uent
q , interest thereon shall be
at the rate of eight per cent per annum from delinquency until
such delinquent installments are fully paid.
SMCTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
83CTION 3, This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
