AN ORDINANCE AMENDING that portiop of Section 25-4-6 (a) of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended by Bill No.
63 of 1969, relating to the Salary Schedule, Group III, Policemen and
Firemen.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That the portion of Section 25-4-6 (a) of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended by Bill No. 63 of
1969, relating to the Salary Schedule, Group III, Policemen and Firemen,
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:

SECTION 2. That the salary schedules provided in Section 1 shall
become effective on September 1, 1969.
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabi-
tants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publica-
tion.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of September, 1969. 7
