Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 1328 of Chapter 51 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to water supply and
waterworks, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Com-
missioners of Salt Lake City, August 11, 1914.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 1328 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1913, relating to water supply and water works, as
amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, August 11, 1914, be, and the same is hereby amended so as
to read as follows:
SECTION 1328. APPOINTMENTS. SALARIES. The Board of Com-
missioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, may appoint a competent
pereon to the office of superintendent of waterworks, who shall
reoeive a salary to be fixed by the Board of Commissioners, of
not to exceed $2,400.00 per annum; a competent person as
assistant superintendent of waterworks, who shall receive a
salary to be fixed by the Board of Commissioners, of not to
exceed $1,800.00 per annum. Said salaries are to be paid in
monthly installments as are the salaries of other city officers.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
