AN ORDINANCE AMENDING that part of Sec. 30-1-2, Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, which relates to salaries
of patrolwomen, Grade 1.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That that part of Sec. 30-1-2, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, which relates to salaries of patrol-
women, Grade 1, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as
follows:
"Patrolwomen
Sergeant . . . .
Grade 1 $ 5,760.00
provided that from and after five, ten and
fifteen years of satisfactory service at
Grade 1, the annual salary shall be not
more than $5,940.00, $6,120.00 and $6,300.00,
respectively."
SECTION 2. The salaries fixed by Section 1 hereof shall be
effective and payable from and after August 1, 1965.
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it
is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immedi-
ately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 17th day of August, 1965.
