AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX and for the assessment of property (Sewer Extension No. 585) for the purpose of constructing a sewer. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the prop y hereinafter described (Sewer Extension No. 585) for the purpose of constructing a sewer, to-wit: Lots 25-51 incl. of Block 4, Lots 1-24 incl. and 56 of Blk. 5, and vacated alley in Block 4, Desky's Second Addi- tion of Block 9,1 -Acre Plat "A", Big Field Survey; Lots 87, 108 to 111 incl. 77nd 180 of El Rey Park, and Lots 12-14 incl. 4-- of Block 14 5-Acre Plat "C"; Lots 23-25 incl. of Sun Ray Sub. and Lots 8-11 incl. of Block 15, 5-Acre Plat "C", Big Field Survey; Lots 13-24 incl. of Block 22, Lots 1-24 incl. of Block 23, Lots 1-12 incl. of Block 24 of Oakley Addition, and Lots 2-12 incl. of Block 1, Lots 1-22 incl. of Block 2, Lots 1 and 13-22 incl. of Block 3 of Beyers+ and Tolles' Addition, Subdivisions of part of SE 1/4 of Section 27, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., S. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing ;and laying sewer laterals consisting of 4237. feet of eight (8) inch vitrified pipe, including manholes, flush tanks and Y's for house jconnections, all complete, under the portions of said streets oppo- cite the property hereinafter and hereinbefore described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is thereby adjudged, determined and established that said property wil be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax here by levied and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at a unifo hrate in accordance w,_th the linear foot frontage upon and to the entire depth of the same ownership back therefrom not exceeding j330 feet, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is Twenty-one Thousand Forty-three and 17/100 N ($21,043.17) Dollars; Twenty Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty-nine an. ) 49/100 ($20,929.49) Dollars or Two and 93/100 ($2.93) Dollars per ?) front or linear foot of abutting property for half rate, there be- ling 7,143.17 feet abutting said improvement; One Hundred Thirteen and 68/100 ($113.68) Dollars or Five and 86/100 ($5.86) Dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property for full rate, there lbeing 19.40 feet abutting said improvement; which is the total habutters' cost and cost per front foot of said sewer, according to ? the contract entered into for the performance of said work and mak- ing said improvement with Evan W.
