Result
AN ORDINANCE VACATING SOUTH LAKE STREET, also known as
Geneva Avenue, and an existing fourteen foot gravel road through
Valley Investment Company property, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That South Lake Street, also known as Geneva
Avenue, in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly described as
follows:

Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 3,
,.i Midland Five Acre Plat Addition, being a subdivision of a
part of Sections 15, 22 and 23, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., S.L.B.
•PP & M., thence East 1,108 ft. to the West line of 33.0 ft.
z perpetual easement for Salt Lake City sewer, thence N. 13°
23t 30" W. 68 ft. to the North line of South Lake Street,
(also known as Geneva Avenue), thence West 1,092 ft. to the
East line of Ethan Avenue, also known as Catherine Street,
thence South 66.0 ft. to beginning;

Q a Also that an existing fourteen foot gravel road through
w w Valley Investment Company property, in Salt Lake City, Utah,
P. the center line of which is more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning 400 ft. North of the Southwest corner of Lot
1, Block 5, Midland Five Acre Plat Addition, being a subdivi-
sion of a part of Sections 15, 22 and 23, T. 1 N., R, 1 W.,
S. L. B. & M., thence S. 89° 39' E. 1,3!7.5 ft. to the West
line of Oakley Street; -
be and the same are hereby vacated and declared no longer to be pub-
lic property for use as streets, avenues, alleys or pedestrian ways.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every
description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the
above described property and also subject to the right of entry
thereon for the purpose of inspection, maintenance, repairing, re-
placing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of
them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,

it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first pub;ication. —}
