V Green Neslen Mr. Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX and for the assessment of property on Seventh West from First South to Third South Streets in Paving District No. 29, (Curb & Gutter Extension No. 38) for the purpose of providing for the grading and guttering and curbing thereof, constructing waterways to carry water along and across streets and intersections, constructing storm sewers and private driveways. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COLIMISSIONERS of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter described in Paving District No. 29, (Curb & Gutter Extension No. 38) , for the pur- pose of providing for the grading and guttering and curbing thereof, constructing waterways to carry water along and across streets and intersections, and constructing storm sewers and private driveways, to-wit: In Lots 2 to 5 incl. of Block 38, Lots 1 & 30 to 35 inel of Block 1, Heath's Sub. of Block 39; Lots 1 & 30 to 35 incl. of Block 2, Heath's Sub. of Block 39; Lots 1 & 20 to 28 incl. of Block 1, Franklin Sub, of Block 46 and Lots 4 & 5 of Block 47, Plat C, Salt Lake City Survey, abutting on both sides of Seventh West from First South to Third South Streets, Salt 78 i i ! i ;Lake City, Utah. Said tax shall became and be delinquent in five equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum un- paid at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable at the time each installment is due, to-wit: One-fifth thereof one year afte the ordinance o onfirming the levy of the tax for the payment for jsush improvement becomes effeetive;one-fifth thereof in two year after said ordinance bec ones effective; one-fifth thereof in th e years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-fifth thereof n four years after said ordinance becomes effective; and one-fifth thereof in five years after said ordinance becomes effective. Ono {or more of said installments, in the order in which they are pay- able, or the whole special tax, may be paid at any time within thirty days after the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax b - acmes effective, without interest. In the event of any installme t for the interest aforesaid not being paid on the date the same be comes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at the ti said installment and interest are due, shall become due and paya le, hand shall draw interest at the rate of eight per cent per annum un- til the sale of the property assessed; provided, one or more in-1 1stallments, in the order in which they are payable, or the vhol special tax unpaid, may be paid on the day any installment beco s due, by paying the amount thereof and interest to said date.
