An epee levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on both sides of Market Street from a point midway between Bast
Temple Street me 184 Temple Street, to West TOMOS Street, in
Sower District No. 10 for the tonstruetion of a Sower.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
i provide for the aoeeesweat Of the same upon the property hereinafter
lsseribed in Lets Nos. 3 and 4, Sleek 51, Plat "0, Salt Lake City
Surrey, abutting on both sides of Market Street from a point midway
" between Bast Temple and Wirt Temple Streets to West Temple Street,

in Sower District Ne. 1, said property having a frontage of 500 feet
1 slang said street.
This tax is levied to defray the sepense of senstruuting a
sewer upon said portion of said street opposite the property here-
iasfter desmribed to be espeeially affected and benefited by said
improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established
I; that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full
! amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby
lassessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear
foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to
a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby
levied and to be assessed upon said parole of land is four hundred
and twenty and no/l00 (3420.00) dollars, or 700100 (*0.70) dollars
;per front or linear foot, which is the estimated total cost and esti
Imated cost per linear foot of said sewer, and the Treasurer is here-
,by authorised and directed to assess in accordance with the provis-
;ions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, the east
05 feet of the west 320 feet of Lot 3, the east 305 feet of Lot 4,
!Block 51, Plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey, as the save are shown
I14on the official plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25)

SECTION 2. Said tax shall bseome and be delinquent as follows:
One-third thereof shall become delinquent in three months after
the approval of this levy; one-third in six moaths after said appro-
val, and one-third in twelve months after said approval. >Raoh and
every installment of said tax except the first, shall draw interest
at the rate of seven per east per annum from date of levy, and all
said installments shall low interest at the rate of ten per cent
par annum from date of deli* ency.
