Result AN ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMEENDING SECTION 1356 of Chapter XXXXIV,
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to
the Mayor.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 1356 of Chapter XXXIV, Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to the Mayor
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1356. OATH. BOND. The mayor shall before
entering upon the duties of his office take and subscribe
the constitutional oath of office and give bond to the city
with the approved corporate surety in the sum of ten thousand
dollars conditioned as required by law.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City, that this ordinance shall become effectively
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt flake City,
Utah, this 28th day of January A.D. 1926
