An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property o. both sides of Bellevue Street between Sixth South and Seventh South Streets, in Sewer District go. 1, for the construction of a sewer. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter described in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a sewer, to-wit: In Lots 2, 3, 6 and 7, Block 19, Plat "B", abutting on both sid=s of Bellevue Street between Sixth South and Seventh South Streets. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a vitr fied pipe sewer eight (8) inches in diameter upon the portion of sal.' street opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby Aevied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at en equal andI uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assess upon said parcels of 'and is six hundred eighty-seven and 97/100 ($687.97) dollars, or 852239/1,000,000 ($P0.852239) dollars per fron, or linear foot of abutting property 3sxxae_wxx, there being 807.25 feat of abutting property within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and street above mentioned,which is the total cost and cost per front fort of said sewer according to the contract entered into for the perform ance of said. work and making said improvement, with James Kennedy Construction Company, dated the 7th day of February, 1910, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for tho purpose herein montiond: The west side of the north 206.25 feet of the east 155 feet of 1 Lot 2, the east side of the north 231 feet of the west 155 feet,6f Lot i 1 3, the east side of the north 185 feet of the south 195 feet of the vit west 135 feet of Lot 6, the west side of the north 185 feet of the (south 195 feet of the east 135 feet of Lot 7, Block 19, Plat "B", Sal Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said city to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said street, and to collect said tax. SECTION 2. One or more of said installments, in the order in which they are payable, or the whole special tax may be paid at any time within thirty days after the approval of the ordinance con"irming- the levy of the tax, without interest.
