I —
An ordinance amending Section 1330 of Chapter 61 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, as amended by an
ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Safi Lake City
September 27, 1915.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 1330 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners September 27, 1915, be, and the same is
hereby amended so as to read as follows:
SECTION 1330.EMPLOYEES. EMPLOYMENT. COMPENSATION. The
Board of Commissioners may appoint and employ in the Depart-
ment of Water Supply and Waterworks, the following assistants,
clerks and employees:
One Chief Clerk at a salary not to exceed $1500.00 per
annum, who shall, before assuming the duties of his office,
take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office, and
shall give a bond to Salt Lake City in the sum of 01,000.30,
conditioned as required by law; one assessor at a salary not
to exceed 62100.00 per annum, who shall, before assuming the
duties of his office, take and subscribe the constitutional
oath of office, and shall love a bond to Salt Lake City in
the sum of $1,000.00, conditioned as required by law; ,

and such stenographers, clerks, foremen, pipemen, motormen
machinists, blacksmiths and employees as may be necessary
for the proper conduct of such department, at such compen-i
sation as may be determined by the Board of Commissioners.
ij SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty-one
days after after its passage.
