AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Chapter 1 of Title 33 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating
to real property, by adding thereto a new section.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 1 of Title 33 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to real
property, be, and the samelereby is, amended by adding
thereto a new section 33-1-4 pertaining to real estate sales, ,
to read as follows:
"Sec. 33-1-4. Proceeds from real estate sales.
All proceeds or revenue received from the sale of
any real property sold by Salt Lake City shall be
deposited in a separate property account and ex-
pended solely for the purpose of acquiring real
property needed by the city."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the peace, safety and welfare of the in-
habitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 19th day of June, 1974.
