Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
- ake City, Utah:

SECTION 1. That alley running east and west between

Sherman and Harrison Avenues and between 4th and 5th East Streets
in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point 110 ft. north of the southeast
corner of Lot 10, Blk. 2, Washington Place, a subdivision
of Blk. 13, 5 Acre Plat A. Big Field Survey, thence N.
45° W. 7.07 ft., thence west 440 ft., thence s. 45° W.
7.07 ft., thence north 20.5 ft. (20.2 ft. by County plat)
thence S. 45° E. 7.07 ft., thence east 440 ft., thence
N. 45° E. 7.07 ft., thence south 20.5 ft. (20.2 ft. by
County plat) to the place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and
every description now located in, on, under or over the confines
of the above described property, and also subject to the right
of entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, re-
pairing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of
them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication. 81
