Dear Sir:
The Board of City Commissioners, at its meeting today, passed an
ordinance, BILL NO. 106 of 1966, repealing paragraph, or item (7)
of Section 51-22-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,
Utah, 1965, relating to uses permitted in Commercial "C-1"
Districts and relating to auto-wash, auto upholstery and auto
accessory and installation and repair.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING paragraph or Item (7) of Sec. 51-22-1,
of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating
to uses permitted in Commercial "C-1" District, as amended by Bills
Nos. 63, 67 and 79 of 1966.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Item (7) of Sec. 51-22-1 of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to uses permitted in
Commercial "C-1" District, as amended by Bills Nos. 63, 67 and 79
of 1966, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"(7) Auto-wash, auto upholstery and auto accessory installa-
tion and repair, "auto accessory" being defined as such
parts installed in an auto, such as radio, speedometer, air
conditioner, etc. as are not necessary to effect the movement
or stopping of the auto."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 26th July
