AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Employees", prepared by the "Citizens' Review
Board", adopted by an ordinance amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by Bill No. 40 of 1967, passed
July 13, 1967, a copy of which Wage and Salary Administration Program is on
file in the office of the City Recorder, by changing the salary range number
and salary range of "veterinarian" in the Civil Service "managerial and
professional' category.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration Program
for Salt Lake City Employees", prepared by the "Citizens' Review Board",
adopted by that ordinance amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by Bill No. 40 of 1967, passed July 13, 1967,
a copy of which said Wage and Salary Administration Program is on file in the
office of the City Recorder, be, and the same hereby is, amended by deleting
from Salary Range No. 16 and Salary Range $528-676, the position of veterinarian
in the Civil Service and adding the position of veterinarian to Salary Range
No. 23, Salary Range $744-936, in the Civil Service, thereby fixing the salary
range number and salary range of the person occupying said position accordingly.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary
to the peace,health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this
ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
