AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary
Administration Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees"
dated May 1969, as adopted by Bill No. 63 of 1969, amending Section
25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965,
by adding thereto the position of Administrative Technician
(Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police) under Pay Class
No. 16 for civil service managerial and professional employees and
deleting therefrom the position of Administrative Secretary I
under Pay Class No. 11 for civil service clerical and tecirical
employees.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administra-
tion Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated May
1969, as adopted by Bill No. 63 of 1969, amending Section 25-4-5
of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, be, and
the same hereby is, amended as follows:
(a) Under the title covering "Managerial and
Professional" employees for Civil Service, there is
added the position of "Administrative Technician
(Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police) "
under Pay Class No. 16 with a salary range of $564
to $708 per month.
(b) Under the title covering "Clerical and
Technical" employees for Civil Service, there is
deleted the position of "Administrative Secretary I"
under Pay Class No. 11 with a salary range of $450
to $564 per month.

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance be effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 25th day of September, 1969.
