An ordinexoe levying a tax and for the assessment of preperty,, within the district described as follows: Beginning at the center • the interse*tion of Third South and Fourth west Streets; thence nort to the north line of First Korth Street; thence oast to the east lin of Third West Street; these* north to the south line of Second North Street; thence east to the seater of Second west Street; thence sent to the seater lino of First Korth Street; thence east to the punter line of State Street; *moo south to the north line of South Teeple Street; thence west to the east line of First West Street; thence south to the seater line of Third South Street; thence west to the seater line of Fourth pest Street, the place of beginning. Also en both sites of Seised West Street from Fifth Korth Street to a point I throe hundred and thirty (M0) feet north of Seventh Korth Street, except where sidewalks are laid er streets are vacated by ordinance to railreads, in Sidewalk Districts Kos. 5, 11, 19 and 20, for the eoastraetien of •sweat sidewalks. Be it ordained by the City Connoil of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter I described in Sidewalk Districts Nos. 5, 11, 19 and 20, for the eon- atruotion of cement sidewalks, to-wit: In the southwest quarter of Section 31, Township 1 north, Range 1 east, and in lots E. and 6, Blook 93, Plat "A". Salt Lake City Bur- 1 vey, abutting on the south side of First North Street between Main and State Streets. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing cement sidewalks six (6) feet wide and four (4) inches thick upon the per- tions of said streets opposite the property hereinbefore and herein- after described to be especially affeoted and benefited by said im- provement. and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full'amount -2- of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby asseaso at an equal and uniform rate ih &scoriae.• with the linear feet front age upon said portions of said streets fronting upon and to a depth of twentyfive (26) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is six hundred forty-three and 29/100 ($643.39) dollars, or sae and 20933/100.000 ($1.20933) dollars per front or linear feet of abutting property for sidewalk upon the street above mentioned in Sidewalk Districts los. 5, 11, 19 and 20. there being 531.94 foot of abutting property within the bonn- dstles of the lets, bleak, Beetle* and street shove mentioned, in ea district. whisk is the tetal_gost and soot per front foot of said sidewalk according to the contrast entered into for the performance of said work and mating said improvement. with S. Said tax shall beosme and be delinquent in five equal installments, as follows. to-wit: One-fifth thereof one year after the approval of the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax for the payment for snoh improvement; one-fifth thereof in two years after suck approval; ono-fifth thereof in throe years after such approval; one-fifth thereof in four years after such approval; and one-fifth thereof in five years after such approval.
