It shall be unlawful for any person, by himself, his clork, servant or anent, to sell, buy for delivery to another, barter, give away, serve, or otherwise furnish any intoxicating liquor with or without -deals, in any chili ,parlor, restaurant, public dining room or other place whore prostitutes or disorderly persons are permitted to visit or resort. Upon revocation of a retail ligorn cense another license shall not be granted in lieu thereof until such time as t} e total number of licenses in effect in Salt Lake City shall not exceed one for each one thousand of population in said city, nor shall any license be granted in lieu of any license which may have become null and void until such time as the total nwnber of licenses in force in Salt Lake City shall not exceed one for each one thousand of population in said city; provided that nothing iin,,this section shall prevent the assi;sment of a retail liquor license to a person or partnership other than the person or partnership to whom it was issued provided said person or partnership shall: first have qualified- as provided by law and shall, in the di,scrotionof the City Commission, he entitled to a retaillieuor license. SUCTION C26x11. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be banished, when not otherwise provided in this chanter, by a fine of not less than r.;;50.00, nor more than U99.00, or by imnrison- mont in the City Jail for not less than thirty days, nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SUCTION 2. All ordinances aid. Harts of ordinances, or resolutions and harts of resolutions in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SUCTION 3.
