AN• ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5005 of the Revised
Ordinances of :Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by an
ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 23,
1951, relating to speed of locomotives within city limits.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
City, Utah:

4,,"i CTION 1. That Section 5005 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake 'City, Utah,1944, as amended:by an ordinance passed by the
Beard of Commissioners on October 23, 1951,, relating to speed of
locomotives within city limits, be and the same is hereby amended
2 to read a's follpws:

"SEC. 5005. SPEED. It shall be unlawful for any person
1 to run any locomotive, engine, train, or cars operated on
rails between Ninth South Streetand Fifth North Street in
Salt Lake City at a speed greater than is reasonable and
safe, and in no event at a speed greater than twenty-five
(25) miles per hour."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of. Commissioners

it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants

of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
