86 of 1903 - Ordinance 86 of 1903 – Sidewalk Extension No. 41. AN ORDINANCE . An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the south side of Third South Street from the east side of Fourth East Street to the west side of Eighth Bast Street, in Sidewalk District No. 6, for the construction of a sidewalk. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on the south side of Third South Street from the east side ; of Fourth East Street to the west side of Eighth East Street, in Sidewalk District No. 6. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a sidewalk upon said portion of said street opposite the property hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab- lished that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax he:roby levied, and mid parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is three thousand four hundred and eighty-four and 80/100 ($3484.80) dollars„ or one and 32/100 (01.32) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein men- tioned,ali of lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, block 37; all of lots 5 and 6, block 38; all of lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, block 39; and all of lots 5 and 6, block 40, plat "B", Salt Lake City Survey, as the scone are shown : upon the official plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) ' feet back from said street.
