AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY running south from 9th
North Street, between 12th West and Colorado Streets in Salt Lake
City, Utah.
Be it ordained by-the Board of Commissioners of Salt
t- Lake City, Utah:
s / SECTION .1. That .alley running south from 9th North
,j Street, between 12th West and; CoLorado,Streets in Salt Lake City,
Utah, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 12,
Block 20, Oakley, a subdivision of part of Sections '
26, 27, 34, and 35, T. 1 N., R. 1 W., S. L. B. and
M.; running thence south 303.5 ft., to the southwest
corner of Lot 1, Block 20, said subdivision; thence
west 17 ft., to the southeast corner of Let 24, Block
20, said subdivision; thence north 303.5- ft., to the
northeast corner of Lot 13, Block 20, said subdivision;
thence east 17 ft., to the place of beginning.
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
0 way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights: of way and easements of all public utilities of any and
every description now located on, in, under or over the confines
of the above described property and also subject to the right
of entry therdon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repair-
ing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and
all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health andsafety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
