AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING that portion of Section 18-1-9 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as amended by Bill No. 86 of
1962, relating to the salaries of stenographers and clerk-typists in
the Health Department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 18-1-9 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as amended by Bill No. 86 of
1962, relating to the salaries of stenographers and clerk-typists in the
Health Department, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 18-1-9. Organization and Salaries.

"Stenographer $337.50 $351.25 $365.00 $378.75
"Clerk-Typist -305.00 317.50 330.00 342.50
"(C) * * *
"Stenographer - from and after seven years satisfactory
service as a stenographer - $392.50
"Clerk-Typist - from and after seven years satisfactory
service as a clerk-typist - $355.00."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabi-
tants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective January 1,
1965.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1965.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
30th day of _ December , 1964.
